Our journey began when Ross and Janet met through a shared project, and it quickly became clear that we were aligned in our vision for how healthcare should be delivered. We were united by a common desire to move away from the corporate-driven model of care, focusing instead on smaller, more community-driven care homes that prioritise the individuality and well-being of each resident.
With over 11 years of experience managing care homes and a background in both healthcare and management, Ross brings a wealth of expertise to the table. His passion for turning around underperforming care homes, ensuring they meet regulatory standards, and improving the overall quality of life for residents aligns perfectly with Janet's dedication to offering personalised, compassionate care. Janet's experience in healthcare and her commitment to person-centered care form the foundation of the values that JDRH Care holds dear.

Janet Decourt
Co-Owner & CEO
With over eleven years of experience in managing care homes across Scotland, I have consistently leveraged my expertise in quality care, healthcare, and management to drive systematic improvements in the care sector. Throughout my career, I have focused on turnaround management, transforming underperforming care homes to meet the highest regulatory standards, in close collaboration with local authorities and the Care Inspectorate.
As a Registered Nurse with an active NMC PIN, my background spans acute care, community healthcare, and care home management, providing me with a well-rounded understanding of the needs of residents and staff alike. This experience has shaped my approach to ensuring exceptional care quality and compliance while fostering a culture of compassion and support.
Now, as the proud co-owner of JDRH Care, I am deeply committed to not only maintaining these high standards but also leading with a vision of continuous improvement and person-centered care. My goal is to create a positive, supportive environment where both residents and staff feel valued, respected, and empowered to thrive.
Ross Hayworth
Co-Owner & CFO
I began my career as an Engineer before training with PWC in London to become a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW). After that, I moved to Aberdeen and took on the role of Corporate Finance Advisor (CFA) within the international oil and gas industry. In 2005, I transitioned into the health and medical services sector, initially as Financial Director, before becoming Managing Director of Abermed. I later served as General Manager, Medical Services for Northern Europe with International SOS until April 2013.
With over a decade of experience in healthcare, finance, and international operations, I now work as a self-employed adviser and non-executive director, specializing in the healthcare, conservation, and property sectors. My focus areas include technology, digitisation, machine learning solutions, systems transformation, and organizational optimization.
I am now the proud co-owner of JDRH Care, where I'm able to blend my expertise in management, technology, and healthcare to provide high-quality, person-centred care while continuously driving innovation and efficiency within the sector.
